The rules for using Tour Board and how we handle trip data.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Tour Board ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Tour Board is a shared travel workspace for authenticated users to create trips, invite members, manage packing, notes, expenses, settlement views, and related collaboration features. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practical.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Trip content & data storage

Content you and your trip members add (including packing items, notes, expenses, album links, and profile display names) is stored so the Service can operate. Trip owners and members control what they share within a trip. We store this data as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, to harass others, to upload malware, to attempt to bypass security or access other users’ trips without authorization, or to abuse invite links/join codes.

6. Intellectual property

The Tour Board product, branding, and software are owned by Tool Board or its licensors. You retain rights to content you create, and grant us a limited license to host and display it as needed to provide the Service.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is.” Travel planning, expenses, and settlement views are tools to help your group — they are not professional financial, legal, or travel advice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tool Board and Tour Board are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from trip disputes, incorrect expense entries, or unauthorized sharing of invite links.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, access to your account ceases; data handling follows our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to terms

We may revise these Terms. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
