How we collect, store, and protect data in Tour Board.

1. Who we are

Tour Board is a product of Tool Board. This policy explains what data we store when you use https://tour.ourtoolboard.com, and why.

2. Information we collect

Account data (email, display name, authentication identifiers), trip content you create (trip details, packing items and claim status, notes, expenses and splits, album links, membership), and technical data needed to run the service (session cookies, device/browser basics, IP addresses in server logs).

3. How we use your data

We use your data to provide Tour Board features (trips, invites, packing, expenses, settlement), keep you signed in, send essential account messages (e.g. email confirmation), improve reliability and security, and respond to support requests.

4. Where data is stored

Application data is stored in our dedicated Supabase project (hosted Postgres and Auth). We do not sell your personal data. Service providers that process data on our behalf are bound to use it only to operate Tour Board.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session security. With your consent (via the cookie banner), we may use optional cookies or similar storage to remember preferences and understand product usage. You can decline optional cookies; essential cookies are required for signed-in use.

6. Sharing within a trip

Trip members can see shared trip content — including packing requests, expenses, notes, and settlement balances — for trips they have joined. Invite links and join codes grant access only after someone authenticates and joins.

7. Retention & deletion

We keep account and trip data while your account is active and the trip exists. Trip owners may delete a trip (which removes associated packing, notes, expenses, and related records). You may request account or personal data deletion by contacting us.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), authenticated access, and row-level security on trip data so only members of a trip can read that trip’s content.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

10. Children

Tour Board is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
